• An unprotected fabric sample and one with Microban protection were both inoculated with odor causing bacteria.
• The resulting levels of ammonia vapor generated by bacterial growth were measured with a Drager tube at regular intervals over a 6 hour incubation period.
• The fabric sample with Microban protection measured ammonia production of 1 ppm while the unprotected fabric generated 250 ppm of ammonia.
